Same engine that's in the 2023/2024 V6 Camry and ES300 if I'm not mistaken. It's also the same engine as the IS350 but it has been detuned (likely just a software detune). There is a very good chance the V6 will be gone starting in 2025 as they already stopped offering it on the 2025 Camry. Get the AWD V6 IS300/350 while you can. I bet these will be in high demand for a long time to come as ICE aficionados will find it increasingly difficult to find V6 or V8 cars.

This may not be the most performant sport sedan in it's class but it is certainly the best looking sedan from the exterior and definitely going to out last it's competition in terms of reliability and durability. Toyota kept it simple with their near bullet proof V6 and 6 speed transmission on the AWD versions (Is500 is even better although it is an RWD). This is one of those cars you buy and hang on to when compared to the garbage quality coming from the rest of the auto industry which has shifted towards turbos and hybrids. If you're the type of person that prefers to lease then it doesn't really matter what you buy since it will be the next persons problem that buys that car used.

It disappointing having to post your license plate on a grill like that. The grill without the extra chrome is beautiful. I prefer the non turbo. I had an Audi and everything was plastic including the water pump. It deteriorated and we replaced it.

Sadly, having a front license plate is law here in BC. So not much we can do about that :/

Lucky here in Florida no front plate required, my GS F looks great. Big obnoxious grill in black.

how does the interior feel compared to other vehicles in this class ? bmw audi merc etc? does it feel out dated?

The materials feel nice and definitely better than the standard leather you get in the German brands. However, the design of the interior does look more dated.

So you felt like you had plenty of headroom at 6'4"? And you didn't mention the kickout for the transmission by the gas pedal and how it feels to have your leg being pushed over because of it.

Yes, with the seat all the way down. And the transmission bump didn't bother me because my leg is at an angle at that point.

I'd love to but unfortunately I can't pick & choose what vehicles & trim levels are put into the media press fleet. It's the manufacturers that choose which vehicles they want journalists to review.
