Aren’t Celebrini and Eiserman really good friends? Would be awesome to add them both, if we’re going D I think I’d prefer Yakemchuk…he has a mean streak which is something this team is missing in its prospect pool

Buium is most likely a top 5 pick. Hopefully there’s a run on defensemen early and Iginla or Eiserman are still available 🤞

I liked the first mock the best, especially because I’m high on Freij. But if Buium or Parekh are there at 8 or 9 I think you have to package 1 of the 2nds with 14 to move up. In my opinion they are the 2 best defensemen in the draft and it’s not close

FCHockey has Freij ranked the latest (77) that's why he's always available so late in the sim. his avg rank is closer to FLOHockey Chris Peters (46), which is why he ends up on my drafts. i think he'll really go mid-late 1st round. Artamonov's another player FCHockey doesn't care much for (50), but his avg rank is 30, close to Bob McKenzie 's rank (34). Greentree's avg rank is 13/14, with most having him ranked in the teens, so a very optimistic get at the SJS second pick (14). i feel my draft sim is pretty solid for quality and probable availability. i don't think there's really a need for the Sharks to burn draft capital in order to get very good players who'll likely play in the NHL.

If we don’t land Celebrini, I hope we go Levshunov or Demidov (even tho I don’t think we would take demidov). We should also trade up with one of the seconds into the 8-10 range to snag a falling Buium. If we stick and pick with the pens pick, Greentree seems like the perfect pick at 14 if none of the top dmen are left

100 percent Sharks should do this instead of hoping Iginla or Eiserman fall in the draft. Walking away with a stud forward and defenseman from the 1st round is a win. Some possibilities… Celebrini & Parekh Buium & Lindstrom Levshunov & Catton

I think Yakemchuk is my favorite pick at 14 if he's available, but Eiserman is too exciting to pass up if hes still there (unlikely IMO, but worth noting). In this mock, I'd definitely put Elick way above Emery. Elick has limited offensive upside but hes a phenomenal skater and so smart defensively that it would be an absolute shock if he wasnt a top 6 guy in the NHL. Hes the perfect right handed partner for a LHD that creates offense.. maybe Cagnoni if a lot goes right in his development.

I'll be pretty happy with anything other than massive reaches, as long as we stay far, far away from Trevor Connelly. If we draft him I might consider finding a new team to cheer for.

​@@voightkampffchamp Repeated character issues going back to when he was like 10 including bullying his teammates, short stints with teams including not being allowed back to his long time team despite being very good, allegedly made racist comments to an opponent (the league didn't punish him but apparently the player who the comments were made to wasn't notified of the hearing and couldn't give his side), peed on his teammate's stuff after he was hazed coming to a new team leading to him being kicked off the team 1-2 weeks after joining, posted a picture on social media of a teammate in building blocks shaped like a swastika. If it was 1-2 things, especially going back to as young as that, I'd take it with a grain of salt, but the fact that he already needs (and has) a PR guy at his age really makes me want to stay far away from him.

The part missed about the hazing is he also got in trouble they also looked into him using racial slurs during a game. I’m confident the racist spoiled brat from OC is not on the Sharks draft board
