No, this Z series engine was actually developed to be mated with a range extender as a hybrid, but coze of our tax laws we don't have hybrid. In near future we are expecting tax cut on hybrids so that we could understand the real potential of this Z series engine

Exactly, this Z12R was completely built to be mated with range extender, we have Swift hybrids in various countries. In India at present hybrids attract more tax than EVs so Suzuki & Toyota are looking for tax cut. If they launch the hybrid Swift now and in future our govt. announce tax cut, the resale value of the hybrid Swift will be affected and might create confusions

Maruthi's 3 cylinder engines are nearly (99% ) as refined as a 4 cylinder. We have a celerio here( i'm not happy about the ride,interior ,looks). After third service ,the engine become more silent.
