Underrated puro honda kasi alam ng tao sa atin! Pero sa ganda malupit ang mazda!

Kahit sa abroad mas mabenta ang Honda Civic kesa Mazda 3. In fact, the Civic also beats Corolla in USA and Canada in terms of sales figures. Practicality, interior space, fuel efficiency and power are more important than leather interior. Sa driving dynamics hindi naman nagkakalayo ang Civic at Mazda 3.

I think ang pinagkaiba lang ng Mazda3 jan sa Pinas at dito sa US is the engine. The US has a turbo version, 250hp if you put premium gas, 227hp naman pag regular gas. They use the same engine across their lineup kaya alam mong very reliable siya. I have a 2021 Mazda6 Signature and I love it. For me, timeless ang kanyang look even though they stop making Mazda6 here in the States. I wish the US has a mild hybrid on their lineup.

Outright grip is mainly due to the tires used. The mazda afaik uses bridgestone turanza t005 which is comfort oriented, while the civic uses the sportier michelin pilot sport 4. Using the PS4 on the mazda will also dramatically transform the handling

The legacy automakers in the Philippines better shape up because it wont be long before the Chinese automakers are going to rock the boat of the auto industry sales in the country . Already giants like Honda annouced its decision to close down its Ayutthaya automobile assembly plant in Thailand by 2025 due to declining sales in that country mostly caused by stiff competition from the likes of BYD and VW, just recently closed down several of its assembly plants in Germany with sales dropping for the last 3 to 5years for which, at the same time, the share of the European market is steadily being eaten away by Chinese automakers like BYD. To the Germans, VW is like Toyota to the Japanese, that is how serious the competition the Chinese have brought in to the auto industry.

for high speed refinement how does it compare sa 3 series?

The refinement gap with the 3 Series is still pronounced. The German luxury brands still have the advantage in that aspect.
