Ironic to hear your channel name, then complain about luxury items that are missing from the car. Mazda's obsession for light weight is why those are missing. If you want those things, this isn't your car.

His complaint was that being the most expensive trim it should at least have the same features as the GT. I’m definitely in favor of less features to save weight.

There are some short comings in the overall interior that should had been revised by this point in the generation but ya nobody cares when you’re in a miata lol

I own a 2024 GT soft top manual, my 2nd Miata, and this car is just amazing. You simply cannot find another sports car at this price point (mid 30s) that offers this amount of fun. The affordable, small/light, RWD, convertible sports car is a dying breed, so I'm glad Mazda is still holding the genre down, all by themselves. I put 6000 mi on mine in just 3 months this summer. It's pure joy.

I consider the small size and light weight a huge plus. At 6’ 190lbs I fit with room to spare. Prefer the rag top for looks and lighter weight as well. The base model spider can be had for about 30k and is one of the best new care values available today

Coming from a 2016 ND1 Club soft top for 7+ years in a 4 season climate the car is amazing in bad weather with winter tires in Ice / Snow / Freezing rain the car shows stability not seen in the other cars I've owned. I like to do my own oil changes & tire rotations so the size of this car has made my garage much bigger ! I recently checked out all the incremental improvements Mazda made & ordered a 2023 ND3 Club with the BBR package which is the same as my ND1 Club except for the Recaro seats in the ND3. Very close in driving he 2 cars except the ND3 has that upgraded infotainment system. It comes equipped with Alexia built in which you can give voice commands to input a destination ( address / city or zipcode ) & integrates those into Google Maps which takes about 20 seconds to show on the screen. That is a jaw dropping feature not expected. On another 2 different drives Alexia warned of things in the road 1/2 mile BEFORE they appeared. As an older driver having trouble reading road signs its really made me a better driver having this updated system that I had no clue was in the new ND3. Appreciate the new technology making the drives safer ! I was really more focused on the KPC ( Kinetic Posture Control system ) / the asymmetrical differential / the extended rev range with more HP ! Add the side mirror blind spot alerts & even though with every modification done to my ND1 Club the ND3 Club has so many improvements ( padded center console / padded sun visors ) its no contest which one is the better car. From the outside they both looked identical.

I average 38.7mpg locally in my 2.0.Once you get a few miles on it this figure rockets.I just did a 400 mile round tip and averaged 50 mpg ! I don't hang about either.I set the cruise to 76mph.And don't like being overtaken so I never go much above 115mph.Pobably one of the few advantages of living in the UK.

I’ve a ‘22 GT Ragtop & I love it! I’m 6’ 175lbs and don’t find it claustrophobic at all. Plus the GT roof is dbl-lined.

I think everyone should drive a Miata (any generation) at least once. Maybe that would be just the thing to change current buying sentiments that cars must be large, lifted two feet off the ground and filled with annoying "driver aids". I've had the privlege of driving a second gen once owned by an uncle back in the early 2k's, and then a 2018 model he bought brand new. Sure the 2nd gen was more raw and analog feeling, but the latest gen (which the 2018 is a part of) really doesnt feel worlds different once you get out on the open road. Yes Mazda has made improvements to the handling, steering, shifting, seat comfort and amenities, but all that fades into the background once you find a good road and the Miata feels like the greatest go-kart in the world, and nobody is going to yell at you for taking it on public roads.😂

Very honest and surprisingly more a driving experience type of review 😊 Believe me if I tell you that you were one in a thousand youtuber mentioning about that currently exists a Miata with adaptive cruise control when purchasing the AT type. I got that peace of information on my own... but no one, including Mazda, really highlighted that!! 😉👍 Speaking of Miata RF, Homura trim, which is the top featured type you can buy here in Europe... I had also same observations once sit in it! A bit claustrophobic for myself (I am about 6,2') and the Recaro sits a bit uncomfortable after few minutes, speaking of the two side leather lips, pressing against my legs. Lets say not a GT and confy sit type, more narrow sits I would say. And, these two aspects, are actually making me holding from buying one Miata MX5 ND3.

Nice review! It’s annoying that in Canada you can get the BBS and Recaros with the GT features. I wish that were true in the US. I own a RF GT manual in Soul Red. I drove the Club back to back with the GT and I couldn’t tell a difference. While I prefer the looks of the Club I know that I would miss the auto headlights and auto temp control. I drove both cars pretty hard. Sales person couldn’t come along as I had my wife with me and she rode along. I have zero regrets. Of course mine is an ND2. I bought the RF and generally prefer the looks and security. I have seriously considered the ND3 mostly for the updated diff and steering plus the ability to use the touchscreen while moving with CarPlay. Updating would be expensive though for not a lot of difference. I am about your size and consider the size of the car to be a feature, not a bug.

The US always gets screwed in this way, even though this is the most profitable market for pretty much every brand. It's a slap in the face.

Just picked up my new 2024 Grand Touring soft top with a 6 speed manual and it DOES have radar cruise control. It's not limited to automatics.

2020 gt and im 6'2 and 165 and i fit but if i was a half an inch taller or not as skinny as i am it would be tight! if im first in line at a light i have to stoop down to see the traffic signal past the roof line lol but i still love it. there's no wearing a helmet without the top down for me. i will be purchasing the seat lowering kit soon!
