GLB 35 is a win for me being practical and having AMG DNA is a great fit for my family and the kid in me lol I got a 2023 but can’t wait until you review the facelift unless you already did.

Hi Ivan another great vidio just ordered new GLA 250 4 matic all option mild hybrid the driver assistance package is not 100 % available but what I wanted was so am ok with that, not a fan of active lane anyways. Question does new mbux switch on the Dashcam with voice command thank you 😊

In mbux2=ntg7, you can automatically start the dashcam each time you start the car. Unlike mbux1 = ntg6 where you had to start it by hand each time you start the car. This isn't exactly the answer you asked for or maybe it is becuase i think your real question is i want the dashcam recording on when i drive, with this facelifted version of the gla it can start automatically with the car.

I have bought a brand new GLA250 facelift 2024 recently, including the plus package and leather seats. I had a similar car before, the BMW X1 xDrive25i. I must confess I am pretty disappointed with the brand (I have never had a Mercedes before). The internal air conditioning vents are chromed, very bright in my opinion - I can understand the retro design, but the problem is that the right and left grids reflect on the right and left windows exactly over the side-view mirrors outside, being difficult to see properly. Another extremely annoying thing is the pivoted rear camera, very noisy when opening/closing. Again, I could accept the noise when you engage the reverse, but not when you are not trying to park or when you stop on a terminating road or out of the blue, without an apparent reason - it just doesn't make sense. I hope Mercedes minimizes those problems in the next few months, tweaking the firmware/software and/or doing a recall to replace the camera and changing the vent grids for darker ones, at least the ones close to the doors, or I will seriously think about selling the car.

@@ikoalosaurus Five months actually and I feel myself trapped and powerless: I left a message on a Mercedes portal and after a long, long time they answered with a vague and evasive message, showing that they didn't even read the message properly and they just don't care. If I sell the car I will lose at least about $15K - $20K, if I try to fix the problem myself (for instance disconnecting the control line that opens and closes the camera, leaving it open all the time) I will probably lose the warranty and I don't see Mercedes trying to minimize the problem, for instance including a software option to leave the camera always open or doing a mod to reduce the noise (it's like having a wrecking ball loose in the trunk). Mercedes Benz was a great, great disappointment and definitively it is not the quality brand it once was.
