I am a Michigan alumnus. All my life I have witnessed this special game. I really think, however, that OSU fans are a bit overly dependent on the outcome. We Wolverines want to win and will die trying. But it is not the end of the world if we lose. We have other interests that stimulate our minds and satisfy our hunger for human growth. After I graduated high school in 1970 my family moved from Michigan to Columbus, Ohio. While visiting my parents I was struck by how totally fixated on this game the community was, all year long! It isn't like that in Ann Arbor. I just wonder if anyone else from Michigan shares this opinion.
