Great job! not only to finish the mint 400 but to get 4th . you WILL get em next time!

Thank you very much. Yes, finishing the race is an accomplishment in itself, and to place 4th in such a stacked class means the world to us. A small amount of downtime can cost you a podium but that is racing. We will regroup and come back stronger next year!

Good job guys, I have a baja bug shell in my front yard that I anticipate racing with my kids in the future.

That’s awesome! Let us know if there’s any way we can help you with that.

I just finished a Baja build with a 510hp cbm LS motor. it's a ripper but the 5 class is where my heart is .. I'm going to build one. Hopefully do battle with you next year 🤙

Awesome!! I feel the same way. Been racing Class 10 with my girlfriend over the last couple years. Sequential and K24 engine. Love that class and the competitiveness but something always brings me back to Class 5-1600. Looking forward to seeing you out there, let us know if there’s anything we can do to help!

Everyone I know including us have had that A-1 exhaust fail, Harley had one fail in 30 miles. Just giving you a heads up, they work fine on our class 11 but I would never run one again in the desert on our 1600 car or our 51600 no way. Robby had a A-1 fail at BAP the first time he used it. They fail around the exhaust flanges. Nice video, those fronts will beat your front end , maybe next year I will race my Baja bug if I can do it with a prosthetic leg. well see, I hope to race at Rage in the 11 if I can. Good job

Thank you for the heads up Dave. Robby mentioned it to me last week and told me to hose clamp it everywhere. Yes sir those front tires are harder on equipment but they make a night and day difference. I think with a few more upgrades on my front suspension we will be fine. Yes it would be awesome to see you back in the drivers seat. And thank you for watching the video glad you enjoyed it!

Saw you guy roll over the start/finish line in Primm while waiting for our car to roll across. Trying to talk my 11 team to moving up to class 5

Some say fire proof gloves are essential to your safe passage from a burning car .
@LarryNegrete3 ай бұрын
Appreciate your concern, and the sarcasm… That is a risk I was willing to take in exchange for a more raw feel on the steering wheel. According to the SFI Foundation website, the time to a 2nd degree burn on those gloves would be between 3 and 10 seconds so they wouldn’t help much anyways. But hey, to each their own! Thanks for the view 🤙🏽
