I haven't experienced it yet, but of course cold reduces the battery range.

what is charge time with 120 v home outlet

As I know overnight you can get around 65-80%. For example, If you come home around 6pm, plug it in, it's gonna be 100% by the morning.

It's easy to calculate for any battery and input power combination. A 120V socket will be rated to output 1500 watts (1.5kw) for continuous loads, and the Outlander has a 20kwh battery, 20 divided by 1.5 is just over 13 hours. Add about 10% for efficiency losses and it's more like 14-15 hours. When you plug in to a level 2 charger it can only do 3.3kw charging. 20 divided by 3.3 is about 6 hours, but more like 6.5 in the real world. It's the same math for any battery and power input. A 50kwh battery at 25kw charging is 50 / 25 or 2 hours. 100kwh battery at 25kw is 4 hours... And so on.

The outlander phev has a 2.4 engine and electric motors developed by Mitsubishi, the phev system is not shared with nissan The x trail uses nissan e power system which is totally different from the outlander phev. This comprises of nissan made electric motors and a 1.5 turbo petrol 3 cylinder Only the gasoline version of the outlander uses a nissan engine. The x trail e power and outlander phev are very different.
