Quite impressed with your newcomer GFO, almost on point with every aspect mentioned and tackled all the frequent points usually discussed with its segment. Only inputs I'd like to share is with regards to ADAS since while it doesn't have any, it's only more expensive than the Toyota but you'd trade it off easily with the build quality you'd get. The SG-X and BRV VX are all way more expensive than the X-Cross, especially that 1.4M Honda. And second, while it's true 4AT's aren't as fuel efficient, but to achieve 19+km/l on 6pax with an avg speed of 90km/h is something that's definitely remarkable for its class and transmission. So I'd still easily forgive it given you get better throttle response in it vs typical CVT's.

Super headturner design even the SGX copied it. This is the ICE model of the XP that soon will be replaced by the HEV variant so it might take beating a bit in terms of refinement and tech with the new competitors. But the HEV is out so its just a matter of time until XP takes the cake and remain the king of MPV's again.

Its not the most tech savvy but it has what you need(who needs ADAS anyway?). From the side it looks more the buisiness than its competitors (the rest look like eggs from the side, the Stargazer moreso). My main dig against it is that 4 speed auto, yes it wont cost you a bomb to fix should it blow up(which isnt as likely as a cvt )but on the highway the revs are a bit high.

High revs are a concern for those mostly wanting fuel efficient figures, but with our 2024 GLS doing 19.8km/l on a 100+km long drive with 6pax and minimal luggage, hell I don't mind at all plus the responsiveness of a TC automatic vs CVTs is something I'd rather have with an MPV.

In the Philippines, 4 speed automatic make sense. Kelan ka ba nagpatakbo dyan ng 150 kph? The gearing is tuned for fuel economy and higher torque kaya maganda yan.
