Question about the integration feature - will it bring in things added to Reminders/Calender or does it only SEND reminders/appts to those apps?

It only sends reminders/appts! The planner & the apps do not sync, it's just a shortcut integrated into the planner so that you can quickly add events to those apps while using the planner~

Yes, the planner can work on samsung tablets as well! GoodNotes has their Android version now and it also works with apps like Xodo/Noteshelf. The integration feature is only for iPads though since it requires Apple Shortcuts, so you would need to install the non-integrated option for the planner (included). :)
