Great project pick. Any team that wants a project should be looking at him. Players like this that nobody look at are the ones that turn into Giannis, Jokic, Kobe

Awesome video displaying his raw potential! He started playing basketball at 13! I saw him at the Nike Hopp Summit recently and his defense is ahead of his offense for sure!

Thank you, Phil. He's got a lot of potential. I am curious to see what his official height is though. He moves like a smaller man. If he is actually 6'11 that would be ideal.

U trying find fault on him not Crossing have court during offensive Fast Break🤔🔎 When Kareem Bill Russell &?? Wilt did that all the time. It's call protecting the rim , in worst case scenario. If they didn't have the number I'm sure he would had ran back.Enjoy the content but context matter

I'd like him a LOT more if I was convinced he could play the 4. So many 6'10 centers have washed out of the NBA because they can't hang with the 7 footers on defense or on the boards. I would love for him to embrace a Serge Ibaka role but I need to see better mobility and passing IQ to feel comfortable taking him. That being said, if he CAN play the 4, he's a top-20 value at his age. All depends on what position he can play
@HoopsProfile

He is only 18. I agree with the premise though.

@@HoopsProfile Yeah, my mind just goes to Usman Garuba, Justin Patton, Skal Labissiere, Damian Jones, Thon Maker, Kai Jones, Jalen Smith, and especially Noah Vonleh. Other 6’9-6’10 centers who actually found a significant role in the NBA developed a unique skill (Sengun’s post play & passing, Isaiah Stewart’s rebounding, Wendell Carter’s defense & shooting). I think he should really try to play the 4 and improve his mobility & defense cuz that’ll get him playing time, and if it’s not a fit, he can transition to a small-ball 5.
@HoopsProfile

@@HoopsProfile Yep, Chomche looks to have some real defensive upside. Would have loved for him to show that he can do it in the NCAA though, hard to put any stock in his film thus far bc of the relatively low level competition. He might be a multi-year G-League guy just so he can get used to the speed and complexity of the NBA game

Magic need to draft this guy at 18, Masai will pick him at 19. Paolo and Franz needs a rim protector next to them. Magic’s missing piece in its young core is a C. He can play in the G league for 1 year just like what we did with Jett Howard

Not impressed at all. I don't care about "his feet." As much as I care about his inside defense/rebouding/offense. Which I didn't see. That's where "big men" need to excel. Where's his post up game? He's playing like a Small forward. Don't want my big hanging around the 3 point line. Good footwork and lateral movement is great, especially if your playing the perimeter. But, he needs a much better inside game. Inside footwork is different than outside footwork. You don't won't your inside bigs having happy feet.

@@HoopsProfile Yeah, teams like the Thunder want everyone on the court to be able to shoot the three ball well. If his shooting is real, you add that to his shot blocking, ability to guard the perimeter with his quick feet, and possessing the speed and athleticism to get out and finish in transition, you definitely have a player who pretty much every team in the NBA would want as a rotation piece, if not a starter.
