Pass rushing is an art. Latu has the stuff. Sometimes you cant just veat guys with pure athleticism. Chandler Jones wasnt the fastest guy but had 100 sacks with just the cardinals. He had the skill. Latu has that in spades.

@@junior_-3218 that might be true but how long might it take him to get there. I question turners finishing ability, he is very explosive and I think he will succeed i just don't know if he has a big enough bag. I just wonder sometimes he makes boneheaded decisions. So the team he goes to will be more important than latu. With latu he doesn't need elite athletic traits to win. Hes so skilled he will translate regardless. Some of the best pass rushers don't run 4.4. Outside of Parsons of course. But turner aint miacah. The only major red flag latu(and its a big one) is his injury retirement. But some guys just figure it out. I wouldn't be unhappy with either player though. Turner has higher potential for sure. But I dont see enough nuance in his game yet.

I say Dallas Turner is going to be the best in this draft if not Jared Verse. Let me know what pick do you guys think Laiatu Latu will land? My predictions is Laiatu Latu going to land at 19th pick and Dallas Turner the 8th pick.

@@junior_-3218potential is not the same as guaranteed. I don’t care what you or anyone says. That’s all it is right now, potential. How many players have had good college stats with potential growth but it doesn’t happen in the big leagues? Just like there are players that are not ranked to be an average starter and they end up having hall of fame careers. No body knows!

Latu. His close speed at the QB is crazy. I have no idea why people think he's unathletic. If I would compare Latu to somebody and this may sound HERETICAL.. Lawrence Taylor. When I watch Latu tape I see LT burst and devastation. Dallas Turner is a potential pro bowler. Latu is a potential Hall of Famer.

Latus hands are as close to perfect as your gunna get from a prospect out of college and his athleticism is not bad it’s just over shadowed because turner is such a freak. Even tho I think latu should go before turner I still like turner more just because of his tenacity and his upside.

I get both arguments but I prefer Turner. People bring up the P word (potential) a lot with Turner but I got another P word. Production. He’s not just some guy who came to the combine and blew it up randomly like Walker even though we never saw high production on film. He was one of the most productive edge rushers this past season despite him being a little less seasoned. So you factor production, scheme versatility, to go along with being a premium athlete to me he’s the clear top 2 edge rusher along with Verse. He will continue to add to his tool belt and has shown advanced moves on film that he will continue to get better at. All while being super productive. Normally I like the technician but only when compared to a guy that is just a raw athlete. DT is a lot more than just a raw athlete.

Idk about Latu being better. Aiden was a better run defender but I’d say Latu is just as polished as anyone since von as a pass rusher

Falcons need to get latu. Dallas turner is a risk. Falcons need to get this guy. But i understand. Yeah latu got a neck issue. I understand now why teams are scared away but if the falcons are any other teams are scared away. I understand. I just hope the falcons make the right pick. Terry fontenont and raheem will make the best choice.
