Welcome to the GMEN he reminds me of a raw version of Jimmy Graham hopefully he can continue to develop seems like a very willing receiver with some nice moves for a big man and deceptively shifty.
I see him in one of our mocks in round 3, the 2nd pick but him or Sanders from Texas would be good but with Sanders i think he'll be gone by round 3, if 40 is too high to get a TE grab TJ with that first pick in the 3rd but who knows he might go in the 2nd, trade down and get him or Sanders in the 50s plus get another pick somewhere in thw 4th since we dont have one@fullofmuscledownunde

@TuckerLifts7 ай бұрын

@CRISSGazo7 ай бұрын

4.57 forty at that size is pretty decent. I feel like he just doesn’t look as fast or as explosive because of his size, he’s definitely got some sneaky speed in him
@AVerifiedIdiot6 ай бұрын
4.57 seconds on a 40 yeard dash for a tight end is very good. He ranked second for athleticism out of all the tight ends in the entire draft. He is a great player to have on any offense. He constantly puts the defense on high alert because of his speed and athleticism. You obviously have no idea what you are talking about.

I'm wondering if he's better then Bellinger? Seems similar to me. He's bigger anyways.. and more athletic. Production wise...similar though.
@Jstomper146 ай бұрын
bigger, faster, better on his feet, bigger catch radius, better redzone target. I think Bellinger didn't develop the way the Giants hoped and Johnson can be competition to him and we can finally drop Lawrence Cager and the other low producing tight ends for Johnson's consistency
@johnfrega91296 ай бұрын
@@Jstomper14 He was underused last year because they were trying to make Waller the focal point of the passing game for Jones. Between that and the overall terrible year for the offense none of the younger receivers developed the way they should have. Bellinger in his rookie year at one point was the leading rookie tight end until that terrible eye injury. That’s the only reason his numbers weren’t better. Still came back somehow and scored a td against the Vikings in the playoffs. He’s a good player. They just need to utilize him the way they did his rookie season.
@Jstomper146 ай бұрын
@johnfrega9129 Well said, I absolutely agree. And to your point, Waller missed 5 games and didn't produce as expected, my hope was that Bellinger would have been able to show flashes of what we saw his rookie year. But keep in mind the Giants had Bellinger's 2022 tape and still traded for Waller... and now they took Theo Johnson, to me both of those moves serve as an indicator that Bellinger isn't as highly thought of within that offense (keeping in mind they have other TEs on the roster for depth). I could be wrong and maybe they want the two TE tandem and plan to have Bellinger and Johnson be focal points in the offense. either way i'm hoping the 2024 season is a good one.
