Man Trevor!! You are making that 250 sing!! And that pass by Joe Watson was nothing to be ashamed of considering he is on a 480!! I am absolutely blown away at how better you get with each race and your versatility to adapting to all these different bikes.

Such a great video, you're BLAZING!!! Checkers are the best!! The old addage: "That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger"!! LOL!!

I read the article associated with this video over at DBT and I am a little confused. The title of the article is "2024 Kawasaki KX250X Off-Road Build Stage 1". But in the article it states "we picked up a 2024 Kawasaki KX250". Why not just purchase and race the KX250X? What's the advantage of converting a F into an X when the X basically has the softer suspension that you were looking for when swapping the 450X forks onto this bike?

I got motion sickness watching this but I wanted to see you pass that guy in the red so badly, I couldn't stop watching. Those rocky sections looked miserable and the rest? Yikes, but you've proven a point, Trevor. In order to be #1 you've got to follow the "dirt trail" less traveled. Love, Uncle David

Hey Trevor you gave that red bike all he wanted good job bud.

Good job if you rode stock motocross suspension in all those rocks!! And also for riding a 250f in open desert racing. 450f's are king in that open terrain. The riding conditions looked like they couldn't be better for a desert race!

I WANT MY CAMERA ON ONE OF THE FAST RIDERS. 3min & 55 seconds into this race and I've been vicariously passed 7 times. I demand more from my virtual reality.

Watch a little longer and I pass quite a few riders back 😙

Great ride! I used to love to ride 250's, but when an open bike catches you, there's not much you can do to keep them behind. Really enjoyed the video too!

Thank you for sharing your racing. I am curious why you chose a 250x in a desert race? Was this a corporate decision?

Kawasaki is offering really good contingency this year and since it’s a bike I like, I bought one from Del Amo Motorsports and will be racing it this year to try and collect some contingency money

Woohoo great start!! Got that thing set to tear!!🔥🔥 What was hard to sort out about the new bike? Suspension, engine? I know with my 22 kx250x keeping it in the high rpm range for max power while going through rough stuff was a challange for me. If I had to make a guess after watching more I would guess you geared it way up to haul the mail and it left it very bad in the slow rocky stuff.
@TrevorHunter2248 ай бұрын
Both were tough with the day before being the first time I had ridden this bike before racing it. Suspension came off of a 450 GP bike so it was stiff and the motor is all stock and struggled to chug through the rocks, especially with a 14/50 gearing setup
@outdoormedia778 ай бұрын
Another great video, love the scenery. I’m guessing suspension is most important on a long race like that.
@TrevorHunter2248 ай бұрын
Yes, suspension is very critical for racing like this!

In the fast stuff it wasn’t bad but the high strung motor was tough to ride in all the rocks

First I would like to say thanks for using a helmet mount camera. Those chest camera angles just don't do it justice. Second, man you pro guys rip! Makes me embarrassed to post my slow ass videos.
