I saw a ten year old Altima today in "Flahrida". It had a window decal on the back glass that said "Aww...did I hit you?". Of course the bumper was dented in several places. At least they're owning up to the stereotype. 🤣

I drove one of these in the 00’s and it was the most comfortable ride I had ever driven at the time, as well as being amazingly styled and flat out sporty. I dont know what happened to Nissan quality, but the mighty have fallen far from where they used to be in the 80s and 90s(My first car was an 85 maxima. That thing was a 300ZX cosplaying as someone’s mom’s car.)

Mechanics always say they like 2.5’s. Since the Mazda 6 hasn’t come out yet Im thinkin Altima soon. Maybe the new Integra as well.

The 2.5 is an older design but it’s proven technology that should be reliable long term

Drove a 2024 SV trim as a rental. This is the most uninspiring vehicle I've ever driven. Feels ultra cheap, doesn't ride particularly comfortably and the materials feel like they were pulled right out from the budget bin. The CVT makes the engine loudly drone under load and the vehicle feels more sluggish than a 2011 Corolla we once owned. This thing is not worth the $26K price tag when you can buy a comparable Camry or Accord that would be MUCH more reliable. For a brand that advertises 'performance' and 'sportiness', this thing is an embarrassment.

The cvt doesn't even make the engine drone. Infact if you put the car in cruise you will see it behave much better than the camary on those same hills. I guarantee you that also. I out money on that. The camary is always in the wrong gear when on cruise and going up hills.

Def nkt bad in handing. Almost no body rolls when you push it hard. Have you driven the SR? Over .90g of grip and the car is pretty flat .

These are very comfortable and efficient! I wish those CVTs had a better reputation.
