I was always setting my sights on the Civic and Corolla but I went to a Nissan dealer and sat in a Sentra, and even test drove a base model Sentra, no joke it was better than the other two on the fact that it was much more quieter, and felt less sluggish than the Corolla

I bought the metallic gray Sentra SR Premium last week. I also test drove a Corolla that week and can verify you're absolutely right about the difference. Not only that, Toyota was playing me marking way over MSRP.

To be fair this is a fully loaded SV (the brown seats, moonroof) and if you skip those upgrades, it would be a few thousand less. And the interior would be black, which honestly I prefer. Wish they had mentioned lots of this stuff was upgrades and not standard on the SV, which is very nice itself without upgrades.

If it only came with standard LED headlights. Most manufacturers has tbem standard by now. Elentra, civic, corrola, mazda3

I’ve driven the Sentra and the Corolla a lot. The Sentra is better. The Corolla is midway between the Versa and the Sentra.

Nissan dealer wanted over 30 grand for a base model Altima , no negotiating, difficult sales person, I just left they were scratching their head as to why, they had no Sentra base models, all of them were pushing nearly 30 grand ( dealers like they are luxury like ) uh no not really

I have that exact car and It is the worst drivetrain of any car I have ever owned in 41 yrs and 15 cars. Drivetrain is a vibrator on wheels.
