I know of Book Off, but Book Off Plus??? I need to look out for those.

Book Off Plus is like a Book Off and Hard Off put together. The closest one to me is in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture. Incidentally, KZbin modeler Kino Kousaka will have a modeling event there tomorrow. There's another one in Ohta, Gunma Pref.

@stevethefishdotnet so is the "plus" actually better for having the 2 in 1 or actually weakened for being neither one nor the other... Curious
@stevethefishdotnet3 ай бұрын
Oh no, it's both combined, without detracting. These stores are fairly large. They aren't quite as huge as a Kanteidan or Mandai Shoten, which are typically two stories tall.

Isn't that Solo kit the old Screamin' mold? Great update vid Greg
@stevethefishdotnet3 ай бұрын
Apparently not. I wasn't aware of the Screamin' Han Solo kit, so I just looked it up. That is 1:4 scale; mine is 1:6 scale.

@ Sreamin also did the 1/6 kit, but the box has the Kaiyodo logo on it as well, I’m guessing the origin

All my raw files that I work with I keep it in a 2nd disk and create the final file on the main disk. Once I upload it to YT I delete my raw files and keep the copy of what I posted. I am so glad I didn't get the MENG kits. not that I am not liking them but its really small to my taste. OST of Space Harrier for the Win! I remember seeing this at WiseGuyshobbies, the Nautilus. kicking my ass for not picking it up at that time! I wish I can get those sets of paint that is dedicated to a kit like Yamato.

Yeah, the Yamato paint sets are OOP, unfortunately. Apparently they do not make any new runs of those paint sets. The mini Meng Dune kits are alright, but they have released 1:72 scale versions of the Ornithopters. Pretty incredible.

Greg do you guys have a Mr.Hobby leveling thinner shortage? Everybody is sold out here in the U.S., the usual scalpers have it on Ebay. We just went through this like a year ago.
@Lacunan3 ай бұрын
I know you didn't ask me, but what I've heard is that thinner and paint are sent in batches every so often to countries and after that runs out there is a drought until the next batch is sent.
@jebstuart13233 ай бұрын
@Lacunan Gaianotes is famous for that..2 shipments max per year to the states. They say they sell enough in Asia that it doesnt matter to them.
@stevethefishdotnet3 ай бұрын
I've heard about Gaia Notes doing that. My friend Franco who watches this channel has mentioned about that. I know that Bluefin is a distributor for Mr. Hobby products as they specialize in Japanese modeling goods. Plenty of Gunpla and such. I've heard of a site called GundamStore that sells paints and such. There's no scarcity of leveling thinner here for sure.
