I remember marching in the North Canaan CT parade one year when a thunderstorm rolled in. Not a great feeling when in a group led by metal flagpoles. We took shelter under a gas station awning. After the lightning passed we continued to the rally point. The hardest thing was keeping the rain out of the beer. It looked like it was raining pretty good there.
