Nice job Scott. I really enjoyed that. I don’t hunt as much as I used to, but I used to thoroughly enjoy it. I haven’t used my recurve in a long time. I’ll be 78 years old next month and my shoulders aren’t good, but I’m too stubborn to buy a compound bow. lol I’ll probably get out a couple of times during shotgun season or muzzleloader. Thanks for sharing the video. I’m sure those back straps and tenderloins will be absolutely awesome. Take care be well, my friend.

Michael! Thank you brother! Well, if you’re gonna use the gun, maybe consider a crossbow. I love hunting in early archery season, I don’t mind the cold, but once we’re in gun season, the deer are so spooked. At least you’re still getting out and enjoying God’s beautiful creation. Hello Ed! Thank you buddy. I’m shooting a 2011 or 12, Hoyt CRX35 at 60lbs. May upgrade or downgrade next year either to a new compound or a traditional recurve, or maybe both! I’ll make my decision probably next June. Appreciate you watching and commenting.

Hey Zach! Thank you very much! Yes, love when there’s no tracking involved. Sadly, I did not make it up to the Delaware. Kind of in the hunting mode lately, still got another doe tag to fill, and people who want the venison, a win/win for me. Then pheasant season starts in two weeks. So, I’ll eventually get up there, but spreading the love around right now. Appreciate you watching and commenting.

@pawoodsnwater7551 totally get that Scott! I will probably start getting out in the woods next week. See a few bucks starting to nose around a little bit and with this cold snap hopefully stuff starts happening. Hopefully we can get into a few fish tomorrow. I know the west branch is still a little dirty but i usually do better in stained water if it's not real dirty. I'll let you know how we make out tomorrow. Good luck in your upcoming adventures!

Hi Peter! Nice to hear from you. Yes, I hunt all public and I hunt deer almost exclusively with bow and arrow, I’ve never been a trophy hunter and I still get super excited just seeing any kind of deer, doe or buck. I love venison and I have family and friends that love it also, so we fill everyone’s freezers. I’ve gotten some decent bucks in my days but I’ve never targeted them, they’ve just happened to walk by me giving me the opportunity. Even trout, I don’t target the big boys, just happen to catch the big boys along with all the other trout, big or small. Appreciate you watching and commenting.
