I'm still trying to process what happened on Prather's final shot to cause it not to turn the corner harder. It wasn't a ball speed issue because he had a few shots strike and they went higher than 18.1 mph. The only thing I can think of is maybe the fact his previous seemed to fall off his hand just slightly which caused it to go further out so maybe he gripped a little at the bottom and didn't get his hand around the ball like he would have liked? Regardless impressive bowling by Gianna. She had a few "rough" looking earlier shots but by the third round was in the groove and nothing would phase her it seems.

I disagree with this subject related to the two handed bowling style. It’s not a tragedy. It’s more of an evolution of the game. And this just Doesn’t only involve bowling, because there are many other sports that go through changes and adaptions to the game. So basically, they’re saying it’s a cheating method. I’m sure there’s millions of other people that disagree with this.

I throw the ball traditionally. Bowling is a mental game first and execution second. If you can’t do the first, the latter doesn’t matter. This is why bowling 2 handed can’t be considered cheating. The real game of bowling is reading ball motion and adjusting to what you see.

@jacobgilbert8347 when I started bowling your hand had to stay on the bottom half axis of the ball which is why the taught the handshake curve... but mostly cause of drilling your drill can't have too much side weight I believe the most side weight a ball can have is a pin 5 1/4 inch from center of gravity and drilling positions must be laid out in that little area of the ball... what's the point of having those restrictions if your not forced to release the ball anymore from the finger holes I can still understand having the pin to center of gravity be limited but if two handers can release from anywhere allow one handers to drill anywhere!!

@jacobgilbert8347 there is a reason two handed bowling didn't become a thing till the last 25years around the time ABC went bankrupt and became the USBC... also this equipment is so strong now they have to come out with sport patterns all the time where as they heyday of bowling was with urethane n rubber on a 1 to 1 oil block. Game has become more about sponsors and coaches than practice and consistency
