I think you would be safe to grab it/stop it once it's in the water. But I would never touch a disc that's moving still. Unless it's floating away. Instinct tells you to grab it cuz you're used to playing with ur homies. But this is for tens of thousands. And no matter what it'll leave a bad taste in someone's mouth.

@@Banten there are a few exceptions. Lost/abandoned discs can be recovered by anyone. If a disc is an imminent threat to somebody incapable of defending themselves (disc flying at a baby or disabled person). I think a questionable one would be a disc entirely out of the course, for example in a public road. If it were possibly hindering anything, I would say it is appropriate to move it. I think certainly if you threw into someones yard, they would be ok to throw the disc back onto the park side of the fence if they chose.
