My 2024 sucked too. I got back into reading this year and found your channel and Patreon. I read incidents around the house and someone in the attic because they were your picks. But I have a whole tbr of your suggestions. You are the reason I started reading horror and I really like it. Thanks.

You always influence my reading! This year, I picked up Any Man, Bury Your Gays, Fantasticland, They Never Learn, and At Home with the Horrors, among many others, because of you. I also read my first manga, Uzumaki, because of how enthusiastic you are about manga, and put Slow Dance, Look in the Mirror, and Strange Sally Diamond on my Christmas list - the Gabby stamp of approval is all over my reading habits!

I actually started following you a couple months ago because I agree with your contemporary/literary fiction reviews 9/10 times. I don't read horror, very little mystery/thriller and only some romance. You convinced me to read Blue Sisters (loved it) and I recently picked up Once There Were Wolves and Bright Young Women too. Also added several more books to my TBR. Love your channel 😊

I definitely got influenced to check out The Haar through you (already in queue in on my Kindle Unlimited)! Some of my favorite book covers this year are: Diavola, The Night Guest, and Nestlings. Audiobook wise, I really enjoy the production for the upcoming Alice Feeney (Beautiful Ugly).

Off the top of my head, I definitely read Incidents around the House because of you. I liked the audiobook. You have also put on my radar Bury your Gays and Blue Sisters, just to name a couple!! Oh, and of course, Kill for me, Kill for you! So many dark tiles, lol

The movie, It ends with us, was so trash. I started following you this year, I think I was looking for a reading vlog with First Lie Wins (it was my first suspenseful genre) Just for the Summer was also a good one that I read this year and I also loved it. I have some of your recs on my TBR and I’m not a fast reader and I don’t read everyday so idk how I’m going to keep up with your recs lol.

Never having read the Rom-Commers I can't say much about the character Charlie, whom you despised. However, as I recall the dating world as I knew it in the last century many women accept that the single men they find are all works in progress. It's pretty easy to imagine the several advantages to choosing a Mr. Rightnow while waiting for Mr. Right to arrive but beside those the challenges to remaking a dog into a man could keep a significant other interested. Love your list and all your reviews. Have a very happy new year.
@tiaragrooms258 сағат бұрын
Definitely The Haar, I already had it on my TBR but seeing you love it so much convinced me. Also side note there's an audiobook version available, and it's great!! I loved the audiobook for Incidents around the house!!! Having a young narrator makes it feel like you're hearing these horrors from the perspective of a child. Gabby should definitely finish Happiness it took a turn I didn't see coming!

I saw you review The Other SIde of Night and you said to go into it knowing as little as possible. I went straight to the library and borrowed it having no idea what it was even about and it is in my top 10 books of the year (I've read 280). So good job recommending that!

I hated "On the Same Page". I felt Reily was very holier than thou, superiority complex. I felt it was very insta-lovey and couldn't understand why Gianna idealized Reily so much. I had to DNF it.
