One common sense question,with out any visible brakes to the buggy and stoppers to the horse/harness..How do you stop that combo?

The bike (cart) is pretty light. As long as you control the horse, you wouldn’t need brakes. The horse is the brake.

@@sugarbushequinemarketing well that’s what I thought as well till one day the part of the harness that goes behind’s the horse back legs and basically stops the cart broke..Then what,every time I wanna to stop the cart will slam into my horse back legs till she freak out and she took out full gallop…NOW,the mare is fully trained by me and listens very well so she was staying where my lines ask her to stay but in order to stop the impact I actually put my legs on the tires of the cart and activate the “brakes”…Now I learn my lesson and I built me some brakes…Cuz some things always happen

@ I think you might need your get your harness fixed or adjusted. Your cart shouldn’t be running into your horse if adjusted correctly.
