I guess what should be done in tournament games is every time a blank is played it should be removed from the board and replaced with a colored tile with the actual letter specified just for that purpose, though I suppose that idea has been thought of already.

That would be nice for live streamed games at least, doesn’t feel super necessary for all games though

@@Oscar31YT No, we saw the blindness it creates by not being able to actually see the letter. In the future at all tournament games when designating a blank a player is to raise his or her hand, a proctor comes running over, confiscates the blank to a special lockbox for the rest of the game and replaces it with the colored tile. The player may have to write down which letter is being requested so as to avoid any mispronunciation to the proctor. The timer is held while the proctor fishes from their own cache for the letter itself.

Request for the commentator: please tone down the negative comments about players. It just feels mean to keep harping on about some "misplay". You can have those comments when you're talking to friends about the game, but when you're streaming to the public, you need to be much more circumspect.
