For the algorithm. It's a great time to be an inshore fisherman. We are spoiled for choices. You didn't mention if it has the core protect or another technology. It's only been the Vanford for like I think 2 years. When the felt goes south I would throw in carbonex drags. I think the Quantums had the best drags (Ceramic). One thing they all do I hate is that plastic cover on the back of the reel. The oring is almost always out of place. I check it first and put some grease on it to help seal it. I dig that hat. Cool color combo. I need some Pro Bullets in size 4 3/16th when they come in. Not many I'm still learning them. My Okuma still surprises me. For 100 bucks its very good, carbon and alloy. It's my virgins on the boat reel. It seems to have a little of everybody's tech in it. When I go to a fixed income it will be my primary if I live to see retirement. Your video worked well on the big screen.

@Mr.Spectaculous Thanks for watching. I didn't wanna go too deep into details because I didn't want to say something wrong. Crazy thing about the Quantum reels is that they never had ceramic washers. At least not in the last Boca and Cabo series. We used to fish Okuma a long time ago but just never stuck with them. Thanks again for watching and for the comment.

Solid unboxing info man, I've been looking into these waiting for someone to give some good reviews on it. I've been a stradic guy for a looonnggg time, and it would be kind of hard to walk away. Dollar for dollar, your honest opinion of stradic vs vanford 2500 for snook and reds?

@@chrislender340 I'm going Stradic. I just like that heavier feel for some reason. But I will own both. Need to get that Vanford on the water to see what the deal is.
