For 2024, we're unveiling an upgraded version of the Airfoil Board, one that redefines performance. Say goodbye to the aluminium plate - this board features a custom-designed carbon plate that's lighter, stronger, and more responsive than ever before.
But that's not all. Alongside this innovative carbon plate, we've introduced a brand-new foil assembly system, inspired by current composite board designs. This system streamlines the process of mounting your foil onto your Air Foil, making it easier and more user-friendly.
Just like its aluminium counterpart, the Carbon Air Foil board comes with perfectly matched hardware, designed specifically to complement the board's performance. In this video, we'll guide you through the assembly process and showcase the key differences compared to the current Airfoil version.
At the heart of this assembly process lies the revolutionary custom-made 3D washer. This ingeniously designed washer seamlessly integrates into the composite plate on the deck side of the board. It extends through the standing area and into the foil slots, offering precise control over your foil's position.

Assembly Instructions:
1. Prepare the Board & Foil Hardware:
Begin by placing the nuts into the plate.
Insert the screws from the underside of the board, connecting them to the nuts on the plate.
Repeat this process for all four screws, ensuring they are loosely connected.
2. Position Screws Outward:
After all four screws are in place, slide them outward, towards the edges of the board.
You can slide them either towards the tail or the nose of the board.
3. Position Foil's Mast:
Now, position your foil's mast in the desired location within the foil slots.
For instance, you may want to place it in the center of the slots.
4. Secure the Screws:
Slide the screws back onto the top plate over the mast.
Carefully tighten the screws to securely fasten the mast to the board.
Be cautious not to over-tighten, as this could damage the components. Just ensure they are snug.
5. Insert EPP Plug:
Don't forget to insert the EPP plug into the hole on the board.
This helps cover the hole and reduces drag when you're in the water.
6. Final Check:
Ensure that all screws are tight enough to keep the foil securely attached to the board.
Confirm that the foil is fixed firmly in place.
7. Ready to Go:
With the foil securely attached and the EPP plug in place, your board is ready for use in the water.
