Proud owner of this beast. After riding it for over an year and 11000 kms...i can clearly say..Best yet underrated. Getting an amazing mileage of 39 in the city and 44 on highways. Powerful and smooth engine, slightly sporty seating posture makes the rides so comfortable. Easily smokes Rc200, Rs200 and the overrated R15.

Yes agreed I ride my friend gixxer v storm 250 runs smoothly.. 90-100 kmph speed very minimum vibration... Now this bike required upgradetation at least slipper clutch should given in next update..

gear box is harder because of the lever spring its much thicker than others bikes. the main point is it will last you a long time. the bike is easy to maintain and has less service cost. Pure quality in every term. great purchase.

I own a Gixxer 250 with 35000 km on it. This bike is very reliable and smooth. When ridden under 4000rpm, it gives back around 38-42 kmpl in the city.

Guys trust me, I own a r15 and without any doubt I can say it is better than owning a r15 . I took this from Nainital to Munsyari and man its such a sweet motorcycle. The speed, the turns, the agility. I will eventually sell my r15 to buy this.

I have been using this bike since 3.5 yrs and clocked 30k kms till now, i have done all types of riding on this bike - off roading highway touring (600+ kms in a day non stop) and obviously city riding too, till date I have not encountered a single break down on the ride(basic maintenance is must). It has a super smooth engine and comes with very low maintenance cost. It is the most underrated motorcycle in 250cc segment & feel proud to own it.

Excellent review and the way you handle any kind of machines dada superb! Superb product from Suzuki , although haven't got the opportunity to rid the 250 cc Gixxers , I owe an bs3 variant Gixxer 155 naked! 8years old still rides so smooth sealed engine proper maintained. Please consider covering V strom 250 as well. :)

This is an excellent machine, but the only problem is that Suzuki have not made any changes in the bike since 2017 apart from few colour scheme and bluetooth dash. Really hope suzuki brings a new facelift version of this bike.

Lots of owners have complained about major vibes developing in this bike after it hits 6000kms on the odo which was apparently caused by an ineffective cooling system. Has this been resolved? I know the sx250 doesn't have this issue.

The problem with this bike is the looks, with the price point it is going head to head with R15, so this had to look better, but I don't know what the designers were thinking instead of going Gsx-r route they took the design language of Katana. Also suzuki is not known to update bikes for decades, so that's kinda sad.

Having gixxer sf 2016 model and not much maintenance expenses till now except change of wheels. But that one doesn't have disk in back - which is a bit off. Also mirrors are a big nuisance as they keep on dancing around if gets loosened.

I have the 2021 motoGP edition in blue. when i say i ride this bike like a Mother**cker and still get around 33kmpl, believe me. i've rode this bike in every condition. wet, dusty, city, highway. it has no bullshit electronics, it's complete raw. if you are planning this then make sure you keep the bike clean every two weeks, (Every one week in rainy season), this will never give you any sort of maintenance. people with pulsar say definitely male, i with sf 250 say - MADE FOR MAN
