Great video, as ever! 🥰 The point about wanting to actually live more life, rather than spending more time journalling about it than living it, really resonated - definitely an easy trap to fall into!

Hey Ellie!! Yesss this one really hit me this year, I realized I was spending so much time working in my books that I didn’t have that much free time to spend with friends and fam and just do stuff! Btw love your videos!

@@KaitlinGrey I’ve been realising the same tbh! Here’s to better balance in 2024! And thank you so much, that means the world!!! 🥰

Thanks so much for the inspiration to write out and really break down the different uses between my journals and workshop them a little! I've noticed I tend to be a bit of the opposite of most planner/journaling youtubers in that I *hate* swapping journals/planners partway through, and will even continue using one i dislike through to the end of the year just so i don't have to switch, but this also makes it really difficult to go with the flow and let journals change purpose or form as I use them. This means it's really helpful to stop and reevaluate what use I'm getting out of each one and how I can really focus on that for the new year!

You mentioned you need “structured journaling”. Do you have a video explaining that and what it might look like? Thanks!

Great question! When I refer to structured journalling in this video, I’m referring to journals where the pages have a dedicated page for each day (like the hobonichi cousin)

its funny how people react to chunkier books, bcs not in a state that i can't write, but i love see my books being chunkier as used them, it being different than you.
