Disgusting use of track management. Them curbs are lethal enough.... i gather you need to monitor and prevent limits but not penalise mistakes like this. If the guy had been hit in the door while rolling or the roof id imagine the outcome would be loads different. On a Major weekend also at the highest level of British motorsport...

Back in the day it was self policing, the curbs were so high that you didn’t dare try to cut them (but you could straight line them if needed, it would just slow you down a lot) so there was no need for big bundles of tyres blocking the view of the apex.

@@testpilotian3188 Used to be brilliant at removing the sumps off clio cup cars the old curbs were. Removed I believe in the end due to bikers. Same with the one at the last chicane at Donington. Now funnily enough we are running round in circles trying to find a new solution, none of which seems to work

Hi Anton Severinsson, Happy for you to use this clip in the crash providing you credit me. Not a problem. For awareness on a different topic there was a nasty crash at Combe a few weeks ago involving an Audi with brake failure. I had checked with the driver about photos and footage as did someone else who asked not to post anything, however others didn't check and did post it. Seeing it in person, it was not a good accident. If there is anything else you would like, please do not hesitate to ask.

@@CirciutKings The great news she was okay and uninjured. I'd messaged her dad on the day and he replied which was quite a relief because he was replying to me meant she was okay. I also got the full lowdown. Sadly the car is a write off and if I'm honest (this might sound silly) its the first time where I have seen an accident where a car has been in that state which was actually quite upsetting.
