Wow Jeremy, Craig is going to love this video! Yeah the motor is tired but the buggy seemed to handle well around the track and it took the jump really well. Haha, I like the way you used the word "knackered", a very English saying! Great result and so cool to see it up there on the leaderboard! Cheers! 😎👊👍

Hey Jeremy, just goes to show that, sometimes when it looks slow, it can be deceptive 😊😊when I did my amateur rallying at Silverstone, my instructor alway said to me, get all your braking done in a straight line, slow in, fast out ! 😊😊 the Raider did fantastically well. I think it looks excellent Jeremy! Love that wide bumper you got from Uncle Bobs Rc. I think that buggy needs a good ole WL Toys 540-560 motor to wake that thing up on the cheap. That old machine really worked for it, it deserves that spot up high on the leaderboard! Like you said, sometimes slower is faster, in this case not so much speed, but easier to get around the turns, very nice! Yeah, I bet you have a silver can or something you can stick in it, nothing crazy, just enough to be smooth. 😉

It was not the fastest thing out there but it looked great out there! It handled the jump well and it is such a cool looking car! Sometimes slow is fast like you said! Being in control and a bit slower versus being out of shape and speeding around often lends itself to the slower one being faster! I loved seeing it go around the track.

The Raider held it's own! That was awesome and surprising all at the same time, especially considering the worn out powerplant. A Tamiya Torque Tuned motor would be a great upgrade for that rig, IMHO. Terrific running vid of a very nostalgic RC buggy for me personally. Hope you have a great 4th of July, Jeremy!👊🏼👊🏼🎆

It does really only need a better motor it actually handled very good and yes the track damp makes for much better times.

i wonder if the tomahawk tires would fit . they are really soft . did seem a bit slow but at least you know why 👍
