It wasn't the Yankees fault, apparently they made a comparable offer and Juan Soto still chose the Mets. Soto claims that he was upset because a security guard for the Yankees refused to let his family members in or something similar. And I think the Mets severely overpaid, this is going to affect their ability to sign other players for years to come. This is especially true since there's no deferred money, it's all up front.

lol Juan Soto-Juan Soto if I was him I wouldn’t care where I went get payed like that. At the end of day it’s all about the money.. most players don’t care about the fans or winning a World Series, superbowl, ext it’s all about the money. Witch is a same when your a fan. But at the end of the day it’s a business.
