This is probably due to a connector coming loose. On one of the Tacoma forums, a couple of people ran into the air intake shutter connector being loose or not water tight and some of these same error messages came on. Call them and ask them to check that first. I bet that's the issue.

Check your grille shutters. There's been quite a few new models already brought in because the electrical connector for the shutters is taking on moisture. I suspect a recall, and can almost bet that's your issue
@TheUnrestricted8 ай бұрын
I think thats the problem
@bsd73428 ай бұрын
If that is the problem, it's not exclusive to tacoma. You can once again thank the EPA for making cars less reliable. The purpose behind mechanical grille shutters is to microscopically improve mpg by closing them at high speeds to improve aerodynamics. Cylinder deactivation, auto stop/start, turbos, it's all the EPA trying to force "improvements" on gas engines that were perfected 20 years ago. The right way to do this is to leave gas engines alone and make batteries better and cheaper, build charging stations, build nuclear plants, etc.
