Love the SR and "fleet" aesthetic. All business. Leery about long-term reliability with the low-displacement, turbo engines. Will have to give an update when you get some time/milage on this rig. Nice job on the upgrades and production.

I’m curious if the only difference between SR and SR5 engine wise is just a tune to bump up the horsepower, couldn’t you just tune it yourself to get that extra horsepower?

Thanks! It was year end I went during the last days. I just tried my luck and got 7k off msrp. But the way car market is going now. This deal maybe be possible again. so far I have been getting avg 14 MPG mainly city driving stop and go traffic lights. I did take it on hwy and I was getting around 18MPG avg.

Regarding the start/stop feature can it be turned off indefinite or does it need to be manually turned off every time you use the truck? What your opinion on that feature? Look forward to seeing your modifications--👍🏼

@@seansgarage4721Glad you are happy. As a 2021 Tundra double cab TRD Pro owner I am disappointed to hear about your mpg. In town I get 15 to 15.5 and highway it is 18 mpg as well with as much as 18.5-19 mpg if it is flat and I maintain around 72 mph. Personally, I'd rather have the 5.7L V8 over the turbo which is why I didn't hestitate in 2021 to buy this. Good luck!

Wow, I paid $75k for my 23 Tundra trd pro. I freaking love it, all I did was add 35in nittos, nothing else. But I am jealous that you only spent $41.5k...that is super cheap....pretty sweet ride for that price.@@seansgarage4721
