The old wigo is actually good for its pricepoint. Hill climbing is actually a breeze ( if you're good at manipulating manual tranny) due to its gearing. Wigo tops out at 150 kph ( more or less) with my foot floored.

I would say Wigo is more recommendable as far as fuel consumption is concerned.

People would buy the mid variant. But when they find out na manual adjustment ang side mirrors as in ball joint type na parang pang tricycle, it will be a deal breaker for a lot of potential buyers

Sir na try ko na siya sa Uphill Baguio Wigo G variant AT yung tranny sobrang reliable niya and hndi sobrang taas ng rpm maganda yung experience ko. 2 passengers kami nun roughly around 200kg kasama na mga gamit. nung una medyo doubtful ako kasi first time ko magdrive paakyat ng baguio gamit ang small engine and economical car pero na surpass ang expectations ko. now bet ko na mag upgrade 😂

I have a 2009 Picanto and I was planning to replace it but I noticed most rear seats of today's hatchbacks don't fold flat to have bigger cargo space like in my Picanto. Cost cutting measure perhaps?

@@grss1982 most likely yes, to cut cost. 60:40 split should be standard for budget hatchbacks since it is a feature that is very useful for real world scenario. This is just my opinion though. :)
