Kate Steinbeck and Jessica Schaeffer are both members of Pan Harmonia, an Asheville-based production company offering high-quality, imaginative, local acoustic chamber music in western North Carolina and beyond. Founded by Kate Steinbeck in 2000, Pan Harmonia has produced over 450 concerts in its 25 year existence and remains faithful to its core values of inclusion and outreach - offering all concerts as pay-as-you-can and bringing music to all the people through its Shining Light initiative - performing in prisons, schools, hospice, and homeless shelters.
In addition to chamber music, Jessica also performs with the Aiken Symphony Orchestra and is one of the Carolinas’ top entertainment harpists, providing music for corporate events, weddings, and other special occasions. Both Kate and Jessica offer private lessons through their teaching studios in Asheville.
