We had a great turnout from our own club but also from all our local clubs and schools - with 66 players contesting this league. Divided across six teams of eleven - over the course of six weeks they played countless games.
To allow for differing experience/skill levels each team was divided in two and played alternate quarters - so that similar levels were playing against each other. This arrangement and the number of games gave thee lads invaluable competitive play.

DALLAS MAVERICKS WIN OUR U16 BOYS SPRING LEAGUE
This was a fantastic league - hosted by Phoenix BC - with an incredible 66 boys from across our local clubs and schools taking part over the six-week series at Newforge.
The Dallas Mavericks beat the Boston Celtics narrowly in the final.
The spring leagues are a great way of extending the season for our local players and to give them invaluable experience playing competitive games.
Thank you to Simon Kennedy who led the organisation of this league and to everyone else that helped deliver it - whether coaches, referees, table officials or managers.
