took only 2 months for my interview since i applied. I was scheduled 10:45am today i came in so early 9am when i check in only 10 people waiting so quite i waited like 3-5mins for my turn the lady who interviewed she's so polite took an oath she going to take picture and fingerprints both index finger just for verification after asks my passport, greencard and Id's then she ask 6 questions, then reading after written test then that's the time she ask questions on my application ask about my last trip, my parents if they are US citizen, phone number, then the rest is Yes or No questions on the application and that's it i passed. just relaxed and don't worry they are not so strict.( Chicago IL)

It's super easy and no need to worry if you study, the questions are base, i just passed my interview this Wednesday and was approved on spot, now im waiting for my oath ceremony, im super excited to become an American Citizen.

When you hear the sound in the clip it's very easy. But when you are actually interviewing your interviewer it is not easy to hear them. Because some people when talk it easy hear Some people Not easy hear the sound

I just got my appointment date for my interview early next month, I don't know if after passing the civics test I will be part of an oath ceremony on the same day or a different day. After 5 years of being a permanent resident, I had to apply for a second time because the first time was during my marriage to an American spouse, but now I'm facing a divorce. So my attorney suggested me to withdraw my previous application and apply based on my 5 years as a permanent resident. I wonder if still I will be asked questions about my current marital status.

I passed the test on4 /10/2023, when I checked my status it said it has been mailed and that if I didn't receive it by 5/12/2023 I should go on a site to print it out but when I checked yesterday the date has changed to 6/4/2023, what does it mean

Hello there, I have an upcoming citizenship interview. I have a question regarding traffic citation. I had a traffic ticket 10 years ago in a different state which I failed to mention in the N 400 form. I have the citation ticket but no proof of the payment receipt. How to go about it when asked in the interview. Thanks

If USCIS los Angeles has everything it needs from you, they may also decide on your citizenship application the same day. (If you're lucky, your Oath of Allegiance ceremony may happen then, too.) Otherwise, they'll have up to 120 days after your interview to make a decision , I meet my wife January 2017 and we applied for k1 visa and the k1 visa denied 2018 and we got married 2019 and after got married , we applying for CR1 visa I get approve and now i get the interview 04/04/2024 for citizenship and I'm still waiting for the decision more than 120 days we are all equal.

If i have correction in my applications can i tell the officer he/she called me from the waiting room? I was thinking this a lot coz i have some corrections in my applications and my interview will next week. i was wondering how could i tell the officer because I don't feel like interrupting him. but i would definitely ask him that before i sworn in i would tell him first about my errors and i hope it doesn't messed up his mood 🙏🏽im quite nervous

it could be many things like you missing something on the application or they need more background check, but as long as your pass the test you should be find good luck....

I had a police ticket for driving while watching video. I got there for my interview, remember everything about ur stay in USA is in the officer’s screen. I open up to him , show him a court records of my ticket bc I file for listening. He just said on my records ,that’s the only he can see and ask me to stay out of Trouble until my oaths ceremony. Yes it may be , just have court details with u as proof
