One team, Loud, is the defending champion. 3. Format: - Groups: The 11 teams are divided into two groups, Alpha and Omega. - Stages: The tournament consists of two stages. - Matches: Teams compete in best-of-three matches. - Points: Teams earn points based on their performance in matches. 4. Stage One (April 6th): - Lasts for five weeks. - Teams in Alpha and Omega groups compete against each other weekly. - Winning a match earns a team championship points. - Super Week (April 20th) adds more matches and points. 5. Midseason Playoffs (Starting May 8th): - Top three teams from each group compete in a mixed elimination bracket. - Top three from the bracket qualify for Master's Shanghai. - Stage one grand final winner earns three championship points. 6. Stage Two (Starting June 22nd): - Similar format to stage one with its own super week. - Alpha and Omega groups compete separately. 7. Its just 2 splits with a MSI in the middle at Shanghai with its own tournament to decide 3 reps from each league. Then the Masters is in Seoul with another tournament to decide 3 from each league, and then the last team (4th team) from each region will be whoever has the next highest championship points. I think if Sen wins the Stage 1 playoffs and Shanghai it’ll be mathematically impossible for teams to pass them in points meaning they’ll go to Champions even if they don’t win the season playoffs

No, you are actually wrong. If they are top 3 after split 2, they qualify. If not, they just need the most points out of the remaining 8 teams. It doesnt matter if they have less points than the top 3 who qualified.@@nils1953

they dont want to repeat the mistakes before, where teams that win international events just goes straight to playoffs, then they cant have actual match time against other teams and all get crushed 2-0 or 2-1, so the format is a way to make the teams not feel complacent and have more practice time also.

I don't really understand the format but I guess the maximum points you can earn is 10 if you win every game in both splits but no tournaments. So Sentinels just have to win like 2 out of 10 games and they 100% qualify for Champs.
