You have options to convert your wired infotainment to wireless infotainment using a device which is available in the aftermarket. It costs about 24k. You can certainly install rear camera as a retrofit after your purchase (not from an authorised dealer as they don’t do). The downside of doing all these yourself outside in the market is- accepting the risk over your warranty. You will get 4 years warranty from Volkswagen. You will not be able to claim the warranty if you alter any of the existing wiring for the sake of infotainment or rear camera. You have to be mindful of this clause. Also, I don’t think you can even think of rear wiper as there is no provision at all. Comfortline’s horn is very pathetic. Authorised dealer says it is not possible to upgrade the horn even if we are ready to pay. They say that there is no provision in Comfortline to upgrade the horn. You may try this in the aftermarket but at your own risk over Warranty clause. Please bear in mind that they don’t provide parcel tray which comes by default in all the other variants. You have to pay an additional ₹3500 to get that. I am bit disappointed that they have ignored it in the comfortline. If you can afford an additional 2 lakhs, please go for Highline without any hesitation. I hope you won’t regret buying it as it comes with fully loaded features by default.
