Thank you for your review. I don't worry about the depreciation or resale value, because I don't plan on selling my new one any time soon. My current Volvo is a 2001 V70 with 223,000 miles on it. I've driven it for 19 years. I just ordered an XC60 T8. I figure I can drive it for at least 25 years. It'll probably go much longer, since my in-town driving will be all-electric, saving wear and tear on the engine and transmission. Volvo has built long-lasting vehicles for a long time. When I was growing up I noticed that our 1970s Volvos had 6-digit odometers, but other cars only had 5-digit odometers. They're great cars, and very comfortable for long trips.
