I don't think that Volvo XC90 will be remembered as a classic like the Volvo 240 which similarly, was in production for 20 years, from 1974 -1994. I still remember the Volvo 240 fondly as not only was it a safe practical family car, but it was still treated like a luxury car by many, despite its reasonable pricing then. Cheaper than a Mercedes or BMW, but it bore itself well against them.

I have merc, I still have desire for volvo, I don't think you understand what you are saying. For an almost complete suv such as the volvo xc90, I can't think of any other car that can come close in terms of it's pricing. Name me one car that you think as complete as volvo. I'll list down the perks for you. fit and finish, safety features, performance, 5+2 seater, 70km hybrid range, mobile apps functions, additional sports activity key, best in class L2 semi autonomous driving, cabin charcoal air filter.
