Welcome to the 2024 World Crokinole Championship Series! We are now in the SEMIFINAL ROUND: In this match-up first we have Josh Carrafiello, who in 2023 won the World Crokinole Cues division as well as the 2023 Ontario Singles Crokinole Championships, who is now looking for the 2024 World Crokinole Champion Title. Against him is Andrew Hutchinson, who won this years Ontario Singles Championship and last year came SECOND in the World Crokinole Championships, and is taking another run at the top spot. Do you know why Hutch looks at the bottom of his button before every shot?

We have a good guess- Every disc has two distinct sides: one that’s smooth and flat, and one that’s got a slight bump in the middle. The flat side is best for open 20s, which you’ll notice top players almost always check that they have the flat side for. While I don’t know for sure, I believe that’s what Hutchinson is looking at 😁
