I'm looking at purchasing a 2024 or 2025 Yamaha FX HO cruiser. I had a 2016 yamaha VXR and loved it, great gas mileage and ran 65 mph with a ride plate and free flow exhaust and ribbon delete. I had it until it hit 220 hours and sold it. now i'm looking to upgrade to the new SMC fiber glass hull the FX has with the new 1.9 liter. How do you like yours so far versus the older NanoXcel hulls?

Those VXR are amazing waverunners. You can’t go wrong with either ParrotHead. But I have to tell you the new 1.9 is amazing for a power standpoint! The SMC hull is also great, big difference in overall sound & feeling. I’m loving my new FX Crusier HO 1900. Thanks for commenting & watching. I appreciate you Billy D

@@LifeBeginsOnTheWater Will do, I figured around late fall or winter is a good time to purchase one. either from the Boat show or at a dealer that might still have some 2024 FX's laying around. if not then a new 2025 works :)

Would you recommend to follow the manual for break in ? Some people say the first 10k, but the manual shows totally different

I would recommend following the manual for the break in procedure before running the Waverunner wide open for extended lengths of time. But I personally change the oil & filter between 10-15 hrs for the first service. After I change oil filter, oil & spark plugs at 50hrs increments. 50, 100, 150hrs etc…. or once a year before the riding season no matter the hours! Thanks again for leaving a comment. Thanks, the VX HO in white is a 2023. They were so popular we had Yamaha ship us every they had to offer. Beautiful ski, storm trooper edition! I appreciate the support

Yeah we knew it was going to be a great seller from early start of 2023. We moved so many, figured grab up and many as we could. I appreciate it, my new 2024 FX is truly an amazing ski. I had a chance to jump on it yesterday for a few more hours. Appreciate the support
