Yeah I can do that. The pairing was a pain to set up initially.

Does this 2024 not come with the auxiliary cable behind the headlight shroud like the 2023 does?

No 🫤. I bought a 3 foot cable with a right angle connection. I'm able to plug in my phone and have it in my pocket or reach up to my gopro now. Haven't tested the practicality yet though.

Hard to tell from the video, is it USB A or USB C? And have you routed the cable, is it easy enough and not touching any hot engine parts?

USB C and the Bike comes stock like this. You don’t have to install this

@@jou1226 Yes the socket comes stock, but if you route a USB cable to the handlebars, does it touch the engine?

@wouterproost3087 I haven't taken the tank off but based on previous models (from watching videos), you should be able to route the wire along the edge of the underside of the tank. Which would avoid the engine. I'm not sure about going under.

Jeesh Yamaha, really? I mean you can buy a lowly e-bike with usb port on the handle bar or….. wait for it, built into the display!! Even double ones, Imagine that!

Yeah, I guess (based on other comments) older models had a port around the display. If that's the case, I'm not sure why they would do away with it.
