2024 Yamaha YZ250f *FIRST RIDE*

Finally able to take out one of my new bikes. I'm a big fan of how the frame is now and it being more narrow allows you to squeeze the bike at a better angle. The one thing I did not like about it is the bottom end. It seems that you have to stay in a higher RPM for it to stay on the power compared to the older model which you can stay in a lower gear and it'll get you out of trouble either way but I have a couple of upgrades coming in the mail so I will definitely try to wake it up and feel the difference. Overall, very happy with the changes made and look forward to getting it more dialed in

@@equi yes it definitely struggles a bit on the bottom end. The 2025 they made a lot more progress with that.

Hey mate do you ever have problems with getting water and things like that in the airbox, i want to do it to my 2016 yz250f but dont want to have problems with water and that.

Make sure to tape it over and change the filter or put a filter cover on. I haven't had any issues if you do that

How many holes did you drill in the airbox cover and what size? Did you notice a big difference in the low end when you did that?
