📣 2024 Year in Review

2024 has been another remarkable year for Thrive Regional Partnership. Together with our partners in local communities across the tri-state, we have made major strides to advance our mission to inspire responsible growth.

🖥️ $90K invested into 3 counties in Georgia and Tennessee to create broadband plans pending adoption by local governments for future expansion.
🛣️ Partnered with communities and planners to provide geospatial transportation and freight data through the Thrive Regional Infrastructure Portal (TRIP) for infrastructure decision-making.
🚚 Brought state transportation and safety departments together for the "Share the Road" safety campaign, using 18-wheeler truck simulation to increase awareness of freight traffic ahead of summer holiday travel.
🌱 In collaboration with naturalists across the tri-state, we produced Thriving Gardens, a plant and landscape tool to support residents, businesses, and communities in creating durable, beautiful landscapes that support our environmental health and heritage in the places where we live, work, and play.
🌧️ Celebrated the $80k invested into 4 communities to implement nature-based resilience solutions to lessen the human and economic cost of natural hazards.
❤️ Supported our Appalachian neighbors through disaster relief efforts in the catastrophic wake of Hurricane Helene.
🌟 Hosted the 2024 Tri-State Summit which welcomed nearly 200 community leaders eager to learn, connect, and collaborate on pressing issues affecting the tri-state area.
💵 Secured a $2.87 million grant from the Appalachian Regional Commission's ARISE program to expand our capacity-building initiatives technology, resilience, and workforce development across the tri-state.
