Was first impressed by the ex30 but this one have most things that the ex30 is missing like the 2.screen, dog mode(and lift up backseat) and more. Like the design of both, but this one seems more premium inside.

Wonder how well the electric door handles are going function at -30C ? Not saying that they won't function. Just a question , only curious !

The fact that it has an NCM battery is a big drawback for me, and I would be much more attracted if it had an LFP, LMFP or sodium battery of the same capacity. I hope that the sale of vehicles is like that of Tesla, and not through the dealer's network in Europe, and thus to be better positioned in terms of price, considering that, as a Chinese brand, it has to break through on the European market

Starting price in the Netherlands: 45K. Are we sure it is really a cheap car?

Pay a lot of tariffs to the country, it is really cheap in China

30k USD in China already and 45K is not that terrible considering all the overheads involved.

If Chinese EVs are sold too cheaply in Europe, they will be accused of dumping, so most Chinese EVs are sold at higher prices in Europe than in China. However, von der Leyen still accuses and investigates them, and European consumers are destined to not be able to buy both cheap and good EVs.

did you really say towing capacity of 1.6 tons / 1600 kg?? 😲 I think the Volvo EX30 promises 1000 kg This is just the type of smaller EV I'm looking for, I hope they are designing good efficiency as well. I am having a hard time finding my next EV as none of them can get anywhere close to the efficiency of my old Ioniq.

The entry ex30 has 1t, the long range 2wd 1,4t and 4wd 1,6. But you have to buy the top of line to get 4wd.

The moment you claim a chinese car to be premium, you're done. Chinese cars are low cost, and their retail price should reflect it. No matter how much leather you put in them, still entry level segment. If the volvo has a brand recogniton and people are dumb to pay the stupid tax overprice for it, doing it for a noname chinese logo, it means those people should not even be allowed to own money. If the volvo is like 35k euro, this thing in similar or better trim should cost 25.000 euro

That speech could be correct when speaking about ICE cars, but it doesn't apply to the electric vehicle part of the sector

The 7 seat Volkswagen ID6X sales for about the same price in China, and the ID4 cheaper still. But people are still buying the Zeekr and not the ID, because Chinese EVs are considered of better quality...

For fuel cars, Chinese consumers prefer German cars and Japanese cars, for EV, Chinese consumers prefer Tesla and Chinese cars, other brands are regarded as garbage, although in China Volkswagen ID3 starting price of only 2.07 euros, few people are willing to buy
