Mr. Koo did not mention that in the US the $5 trillion dollars of covid-19 fiscal responses combined with QE from the Federal Reserve as one of the main reasons for the inflation in the past 4 years. Combined fiscal and monetary easing almost always creates inflation.

one point about the Population Decline factor, outflow of capital and skills due to outflow of population. I've met so many immigrants in US and Canada. Assuming each family brought one million US dollars out of China, it's enormous loss to China's economy. Plus the money they are spending overseas each year, it's a huge negative factor to the Balance Sheet Depression in China. But maybe there's no solid statistics on this factor.

Beijing housing price dropped by 30% on average from this highest, that shall be the reality.
Plaza accord (currency revaluation of major US trading partners) maybe necessary again for East Asia just to address structural weaknesses in the US economy? This is a beggar thy neighbour approach that has destroyed Japanese competitiveness in the late 1990s. Why should Asian economies make such a sacrifice?
