Hearing about your reunion brought back happy memories my 50th six years ago. All but one of our girl gang of 8 were there. Hadn’t seen any of them since we finished high school, but it was as though it was only yesterday. What a gift, seeing their lovely selves again. Blessed too because we are still in touch, through an online daily chat and occasional meet-ups for the locals. I encourage everyone who reads this to go to yours when it rolls around. Good Morning Gayle & Friends! Love love love all your stories! So fun. When I go to my reunions, no one knows me! They usually think my date for the evening is the graduate. I take it as a compliment as they are all older them me, so the MUST mean I look younger than I am, right? Lol😂. For your punch that struggles with the digital paper, try punching some aluminum foil. I had one that did that also and a few punches with some foil that I had folded to about 4 thickness, and I was back in business. I’ll be making some Roxy pages for sure!! Hugs and blessings.

I love these and yes, they will be fun to make them in a mass make this afternoon. I always love to have pages done in advance to add to my journals. These are different and perfect to add extra interest. Gotta also tell ya that I am amazed at how long you glue book/ garden magazine has lasted you. It's like it goes on and on forever. Lol. Reminds me of your AARP magazine. You sure put everything to good use. I have learned so much from you and one of the best things is that YOU THROW NOTHING AWAY!! Glad you had such a wonderful weekend reunion! I have seen a few of my friends over the years, but a real reunion is impossible. My fellow graduates from the mission school in Seoul, Korea, are scattered all over the world. I wish I could tell them how much I still think of them and loved our time together at a great school in a beautiful country.

I loved your challenges this week! You did a great job! I like that you could use little bits of lace with the Roxy’s challenge. That was really clever! It was really fun hearing all about your class reunion, too! I’m glad you had so much fun! I love the story about the pants! I just celebrated mine in May! We had 42 out of 105 members there. We also had four teachers! We have lost quite a few classmates including one two days before the reunion. It was really sad! I only spent two years there before graduation since I moved from New Jersey to Alabama. CULTURE SHOCK! I spent the reunion really connecting with those I didn’t know very well. The only disappointment was my high school sweetheart and his wife didn’t get to come at the last minute. We had a Soul Train! We had a DJ! So much fun!🥳🥳🥳❤️❤️❤️

It's funny - I couldn't think of many things worse than attending a school reunion. Happy to have the majority of the people left in my past. But I did laugh/groan a lot when you talked about the reaction to making journals on KZbin. I identify! So often I get confused or blank looks or "how does that work" or "so people listen to your podcast, but how do they know what to do?" Your friend’s mom was quite progressive having a credit card back in the day. Us wimin couldn’t do those kinds of things until something or other happened (brain not fully functioning yet) . It was fun to hear about your reunion. How many kids were in your high school? I rewatched your video a few times and seemed to have missed it.

We had a huge graduating class, around 640 kids. The next year, the city created two high schools. ❤

I never went to my 50th but I I know someone who has a friend that was in my same class and he said he went and had a hard time finding the banquet room in the event center. He was walking down the hall looking at all the different banquet rooms and figured well that can’t be it, those people are all old in there, but it was the right room. 😮 I’ve also lived in the same area my entire life, I grew up in the city limits, but now I live in the greater Metropolitan area but with over 2 million people chances of running into someone I went to high school with are slim although it has happened. I don’t know anyone I went to school with. I’m not sure I’d even recognize anyone or remember them.

Hi Hope! My weight loss plan was no sugar, no gluten, small portions and only an occasional glass of wine. It took about 6 months to lose 28 pounds. 😊❤
